Join us for GW's newest family engagement weekend, Fam Fest! Orientation, Class Year, and Families Programs is proud to announce our first annual spring semester Family Weekend and everyone is invited - parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and family friends! Spend quality time with your GW student, learn more about campus life, connect with other families, and capture the GW spirit! Get Revved Up and and explore both GW and the vibrant city of DC through the range of exciting events offered throughout the weekend. Fam Fest is designed to create lasting memories for the entire family and celebrate the GW community!   

Registration is required for all events and helps us ensure you have the best experience possible. Families and students can sign up through our registration portal, where you'll be able to select activities and events of interest. Click here to view our website for the full schedule of events.

Registration Rates

• Adults = $40
• GW Student = $25
  
• Children (12 years old or younger) = Free

Your registration includes access to the following:

• Silent Disco Family Dance Party on Friday, January 31 
• Women's Basketball Game at 2pm on Saturday, February 1 ($13 value)
• Best of GW experiences throughout the weekend
• Family Game Night at the University Student Center on Saturday, February 1
• District Connections- Explore DC as a family on Sunday, February 2 (Note: Some GWxDC trips will have an additional fee) 
• Long-sleeve Fam Fest T-shirt ($20 value)

While registering, you can also add special events for an additional costs:

• Buff & Blues Jazz Brunch on Saturday, February 1 -  $25 for adults and GW students, Free for children under 12
• District Connections Trips around DC - Some experiences will have an additional fee involved 

Once registered, a confirmation will be sent to your email and if you need to make any edits you can easily update your registration through your account.

Registration for Fam Fest will close on Thursday, January 16 at 11:59 pm. Some events may reach registration capacity before the deadline, so we encourage you to register early!
